Why is “The Opportunistic Trader” showing up on my credit card statement?

If your credit card statement shows a recent charge from “SR*The Opportunistic Trader”, it indicates you recently signed up to receive the financial newsletter Larry Benedict’s Opportunistic Trader published by The Opportunistic Trader.

If you purchased one of our subscriptions using an American Express credit card, the charge will likely appear as “www.opportunistictrader.com” on your credit card statement.

If you didn’t make such a purchase, or don’t recall having any purchase history with The Opportunistic Trader, please contact our customer service specialists at (888) 208-6550.

I don’t recall ordering The Opportunistic Trader.

It’s possible that as a result of a closure of another related service in our network – you received a free year of The Opportunistic Trader.

Since The Opportunistic Trader subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default, it’s possible the charge you’re seeing is for an additional year of service. Or, it could be the smaller annual maintenance fee that is charged to lifetime subscribers.

If none of these scenarios apply, please call our customer service specialists at (888) 208-6550.
